Helen Wyn Pari

Helen has studied the harp since the age of 9. After graduating in French from The University of Wales Aberystwyth she lived in Paris for 2 years. Afterwards she gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Performance on the harp from University of Wales Bangor, studying with the Director of Harp Studies Elinor Bennett.

She won the harp solo competition at the Urdd National Eisteddfod and at The Pan Celtic Festival in Ireland. Helen has toured extensively as harpist in Belgium, France, Denmark and Croatia as well around the UK. She has performed at Lorient Interceltic festival in Brittany and at the Cirque d’Hiver Paris.

Helen is an experienced harpist at all types of functions, weddings and corporate occasions and has performed many times at National Trust venues. She has entertained HRH the Prince of Wales amongst her engagements.
Her teaching experience includes private and peripatetic work as well as being harp tutor for undergraduate students at Bangor University.

Lindsay Vernon

Lindsay studied firstly with Alan Lockwood, former principal flute with the BBC Philharmonic & then at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music & Drama in Glasgow with David Nicholson, principal flute with the Scottish Chamber Orchestra.

She has since enjoyed a busy performing schedule, working with various orchestras, including the Liverpool Sinfonia and the Welsh Chamber Orchestra and also playing in several chamber ensembles, which has led to broadcasts on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio Scotland.

Lindsay has a wealth of performing experience, appearing as a concerto soloist and in solo and chamber music recitals around the UK. She is also frequently engaged to entertain in many of the stately homes and high-class venues of the North of England, as well as on cruise ships – during which events she has performed to HRH, the Duke of York.
